For the long-distance competition, choose one distance from the following:
3 Mile (21 laps)
5 Mile (35 laps)
7 Mile (49 laps)
Note: cut-off time on Saturday is 10:55am Central Time! You MUST finish your event BEFORE the cut-off time, or your time will NOT be counted.
Notes for Runners:
The Turnstone Olympic/Paralympic Training Facility has a rubberized track surface, and any non-spiked shoes are allowed, as well as standardized Pyramid spikes.
Sports drinks and water are allowed.
When going to the bathroom at the Turnstone facility, make sure you do not wear running spikes beyond the track area.
On non-competition days/times, the Turnstone facility offers $5 day passes if you want to get used to the rubberized track.
Ribbons are planned as prizes for the long-distance competition, stratified by distance, gender/age division, and official time.
For the long-distance event day, make sure that you finish BEFORE 10:55am, or your time will NOT be counted. We have to exit promptly after that cut-off time.
For each day of competition, the awards ceremony will take place back at the Grand Wayne Convention Center, allowing reasonable time to tabulate and process all the results.
