REVIVING JUGGLING

Reviving juggling by learning how to make a good living teaching juggling in K-5, K-8, K-12 and other schools. We’ll meet for a day to go step by step through the system that was used by over 50 trained “Juggling for Success” Presenters in the 1970’s through 1990’s to make a good living teaching juggling in schools, helping launch the world-wide recreational juggling boom.

I personally visited and taught at over 2,000 schools in 46 states and 12 countries and conducted workshops at physical education conferences nationwide. I taught celebrities on dozens of TV shows including Mike Douglas, Regis Philbin, the Commodores, and I taught many local TV personalities. We started with slow-moving nylon scarves because our goal was reflected in our slogan, “Juggling is our cover, we really teach success.”

We’ll cover every aspect of the program including equipment needs, how to get booked, how to set up and run your program in the school, how to “build the gate” for Family Night, and how to leave the program behind so that it continues after you leave.

We’ll connect you to a manufacturer of juggling props who can supply you with product that you can sell to the schools, making a small profit on each sale.

You start by delivering a few school programs at a very low fee to “learn the ropes” and over a period of a few months you can raise your fee as you become more adept at your work. In the 1970’s I got $300 to spend a day in a school including Family Night, but by the 1990’s I was getting $1,500 for that same program. My kids and I also delivered the same program in summer camps where we got a similar fee, but did not sell equipment in the evening.

If we do this properly we’ll give a tremendous boost to juggling again.

I’ll bring scarves, beanbags and a few other toss juggling props.
