Cascade of Stars

Kevin Axtell has now spent 28 years fully immersed in the art of juggling. He’s a world-renowned fire performer, a master firewalking instructor, and a dynamic event host. Throughout his career, he has helped create and produce events including FireDrums, Club Congress, Game of Throws, and many more. At home in Sonora, California, Kevin is grateful to share life with his wife, Brandi, whose love and inspiration have fueled countless adventures both onstage and beyond. Whether behind a microphone, performing with fire, guiding transformative experiences, or building community, he brings warmth, humor, professionalism, and skill along with him.

I’m Matías Alarcón, originally from the south of Chile, and I’ve been juggling since 2012. My specialty is club juggling. While I enjoy contemporary and technical juggling, my main focus is on trick creation and researching object manipulation. I am also passionate about theater, music, and clowning. I studied circus arts at the ESACTO Lido school in Toulouse, and I am currently based in France, where I work as a professional juggler performing in circus shows.

Spencer Androli has been juggling for almost 17 years and is a 3x winner of the World Juggling Federation Advanced Overall Championship. He was ranked the #1 Juggler of 2023 and 2025 on the Top 40 Jugglers of the Year Chart hosted by Luke Burrage. He has performed for circuses and variety shows such as Teatro Zinzanni Seattle and Chicago, Flynn Creek Circus, Shoestring Circus, Circus Evo, Hideaway Circus, the Moisture Festival in Seattle, and many more. Growing up, he has attended 3 IJA festivals that have further motivated his love for juggling. He has always wanted to one day be a part of the Cascade of Stars Show. Now he is so honored to be making that dream a reality.

Arttu is a Finnish juggler specializing in ring and hoop juggling. He is known for his mesmerizing and calm ring juggling style, involving a lot of body rolls.
He is a graduate from the Dance and Circus University (DOCH) in Stockholm, and since graduating, Arttu has performed all over the world in 18 different countries with his solo work and together with his circus company, OLO Company.

In juggling, he enjoys exploring different circular shapes together with soft, round, and calm movements.

Sam Malcolm is a comedian who combines Native American humour stylings with rapid fire improv comedy and world-class circus skills. Originally from the Stillwater Paiute reservation in the United States, Sam has gone on to perform his comedy in shows all across the globe. His crowd work is second to none and he is sure to delight with his quick wit and positive attitude. Alejandra Parada is a Chilean devilstick juggler with a focus on technical juggling. She has performed at festivals and circus gatherings throughout Latin America and Europe and trained in contemporary circus to expand her artistic and performance skills. Passionate about sharing and continuing to learn through juggling, she still finds in devilstick the same curiosity, creativity, and joy that first drew her to it.

Scott Raison is an award-winning circus artist known for his versatility, bold stage presence, and comedic character work. In 2026, he became the first-ever graduate of l’École Nationale de Cirque to specialize in foot juggling. His recent performance highlights include Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain, Montréal Complètement Cirque, Turbo Juggling Festival, and Circus Smirkus. An accomplished solo and ensemble artist, Scott is inspired by the grit and spectacle of traditional circus alongside the vulnerability of its evolving contemporary form.

Fusion Showteam is an international performance collective from Germany. Since meeting through juggling and first performing together at the IJA in 2022, Julian Kloos and Moritz Rosner have dedicated themselves to exploring how far partner club juggling can be be pushed—both technically and artistically. Along the way, they have set multiple world records, including the record for the most clubs ever passed. Vision One is the result of more than a year of dedicated development with one goal in mind: to present it at this year’s IJA Championships. The act explores the trust, timing and real-time connection between two performers who know each other deeply, shaping a performance where human connection and the pursuit of their technical limits become one. They´re grateful to have the opportunity to share Vision One with the IJA audience in the Cascade of Stars.
